笔搁翱贵滨尝贰:听Previously served as the inaugural chancellor of Washington State University鈥檚 (WSU) Pullman campus, the system's land-grant flagship. Joined WSU in 2020 as provost and executive vice president of the WSU System, serving as a chief academic officer and overseeing research functions across the six-campus system. She continued in that role while also serving as Pullman鈥檚 chancellor.聽A first-generation college student, she has a strong commitment to access and equity in higher education, particularly at public land-grant institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, with a specialization in archaeology, at the University at Albany, State University of New York. She then went on to earn her master鈥檚 and Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After earning her Ph.D. she went on to Harvard University, serving as an assistant professor and then associate professor, and the curator for the Archeology of Northeastern North America at Harvard鈥檚 Peabody Museum.聽In 2001, she returned to the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she served as a professor and in a variety of leadership roles, such as anthropology department chair, associate dean for research and programs, and the inaugural associate vice chancellor for research and engagement. In 2017, she was appointed dean of the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences and an anthropology professor at Binghamton University in New York. She earned her Associates degree in Teacher Education in 2017, as well as a School Aged Para-Educator II Certificate. While attending NCC, she was awarded with the President鈥檚 Leadership Award through Campus Compact for NH and the 2017 Student Engagement Award. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Granite State College with Dual Bachelor's Degrees in Business Management and Psychology, while serving as the Undergraduate Student Representative on the 绿巨人视频 Board of Trustees. Mackenzie currently serves on the Merrimack School District Budget Committee and Town of Merrimack Ethics Committee. She has worked on campaigns at the Presidential, Congressional and Executive Council level in NH and recently ran for NH State Representative. Through her tenure in Higher Education, she has formed relationships with high school counselors and administrators in NH, business, industry, and community partners, as well as Presidents and administrators of NH Colleges and Universities.
